Invitació is Catalonian for Invitation. Invitacio has been developed by PsyFactory webbuilding because we were tired of organizing events through facebook.
With facebook the people you can invite are limited to other facebook users, so you never reach all your friends!
With invitacio you can invite anyone, so no more limitations on services your friends use (as long as they have an email address). When you invite a friend, an email is send. With this email the friend can access you event, no need to register at all.
Benefits
- Your friends/acquaintances are not required to use a specific service. The inivitations are send through e-mail and the recipients only need to click on a link in the email to indicate whether they come.
- The email contains an attachment that the recipients can use to store your event into there calendar.
- Your guests can use the email to visit your event page at any time (without the need to login).
- If you wish you can link wishes to your event, so guests know what kind of gift to bring. You could also use this for a shopping list if you're going dutch.
- On your event page you can see who's comming or not.
- You can send guests a quick message when you want to let them know something (important).
- Emails can (if desired) be sent through your own gmail account.
- You can see the contacts from your Gmail account to send invitations.
